Eligible members can apply to become a Vice-President or President-Elect
The Presidential team work closely with IOSH in an ambassadorial role. They support the delivery of key strategic messages to the membership and to the wider profession. We're recruiting for Vice-Presidents and a President-Elect.
Vice-Presidents
Vice-Presidents represent IOSH to members across our networks, at branch and group events, conferences and widely through a variety of media.

Who can apply?
You must be a paid-up IOSH member, have an up-to-date continuing professional development (CPD) record and be one of:
- a Chartered Member, who is on our Council
- a Chartered Member, who is on a network (branch or group) committee
- a Chartered Member, who is a member of a standing or nominations committee, sub-committee or working party
- a Chartered Fellow.

How to apply
Please download and complete the Vice-President application form and supporting statement. Email the completed documents to governance@iosh.com.
Shortlist and interview
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview (via video conference) during the week starting Monday 12 August.
Successful candidates at interview will be asked to attend our Council meeting on Thursday 10 October for a final presentation and nomination.
Vice-Presidential candidates
No additional literature designed to enhance your prospect of election is to be circulated to IOSH members.
You should not communicate with voting Council members unless invited to do so by the member.
President-Elect
We are recruiting a President-Elect to be ratified at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in November.
Council will put forward nominations for the role of President-Elect from the current Council.
