What's involved?
Our future leaders community steering group shapes the support on offer to the community.
The future leaders community is a network of over 7,800 members dedicated to career growth and development. New and aspiring professionals can come together to share insights, learn from each other and find support.
The steering group is made up of 20 people. They make sure content, resources and events are relevant and meet the needs of the future leaders community.
We're recruiting to the steering group for a term of 18 months, running from January 2025 to June 2026.
The steering group meets once a month. The start time of these meetings alternates between 09:00 BST and 18:30 BST.
By joining the steering group, you will:
- show your skills and leadership
- expand your professional network
- influence the direction of your profession.
Who can apply?
You need to be an IOSH member and meet one of these criteria:
- a current student member, or
- 35 years old or under, or
- have five or fewer years' experience as an occupational safety and health professional.
You must have a current membership subscription and up-to-date continuing professional development (CPD) record at the time of application (where CPD is a requirement of your membership category).
