South Wales Branch

Date
24 September 2024
Type
Event

Legionella risk assessments are nothing new. The need to complete them has been around for decades.

This online South Wales Branch event reiterates the need for legionella risk assessments and how they are required under regulations and guidance documents.

In 2010, the British Standards Institute issued BS8580 water quality – risk assessments for legionella control – code of practice. For the first time, a published standard on what a legionella risk assessment should include. In 2019, British Standards issued an update to BS8580, further refining the standards for these risk assessments.

We're joined by speaker Peter Tyson, Commercial Director at Water Hygiene Centre.

This event is open to IOSH members and non-members.
