IOSH returns as an official Event Partner at this year’s Safety & Health Expo

IOSH is returning as an official Event Partner at 2019’s Safety & Health Expo, taking place between 18 – 20 June 2019.

Safety & Health Expo, organised by UBM EMEA, is the UK's leading global health and safety event - providing visitors with the latest health and safety products and services, CPD-accredited education, valuable networking opportunities and much more.

IOSH will be on stand SH1440 highlighting our valuable training and skills resources, membership benefits, CPD and IPD opportunities and our award-winning No Time to Lose campaign to prevent occupational cancer.

Visitors will also be able to register their interest for IOSH 2019, IOSH’s global conference for safety and health professionals, which takes place on 16-17 September 2019 at ICC Birmingham.

Bev Messinger, IOSH Chief Executive, said:

“While health and safety is at the heart of some of the world’s most successful organisations, over 2.3 million people still die every year from work-related accidents or illness.

“IOSH has a vision to create a safe and healthy world of work, striving to reduce the loss caused by accidents and diseases in the workplace and demonstrate the business benefits of good occupational safety and health.

“Safety & Health Expo is a great opportunity to meet and network with others in the industry, and we are very keen for you to share your ideas with us about the innovative ways you keep your teams and working environments safe. We are keen to collaborate and to hear examples of best practice as we work together towards our shared goal of creating a safer and healthier world of work.”

During the Expo, Training and Skills colleagues will be on hand to showcase IOSH training courses. IOSH courses provide solutions to some of the biggest changes and challenges affecting the world of work, demonstrating how profitability and return on investment can be markedly improved through organisational sustainability and effective people management.

IOSH’s new courses, Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Site Managers and Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Workers, cover the diverse breadth of the construction sector’s workforce and provide essential knowledge managers and workers need to keep themselves and others safe on site.

IOSH’s Leading Safely course focuses on how good health and safety improves productivity, increases profits, enhances corporate reputation and strengthens your brand.

To explain more about these benefits, Jonathan Nobbs, Head of Product at IOSH, will be running a session on 20 June exploring ‘The Sustainable Workforce’ and how helping workers operate safely and healthily in their work environments underpins overall corporate performance and organisational sustainability.

Last year's Health & Safety Expo saw 28,036 leads generated on site, an average of 134 per exhibitor, and attracted international visitors from 70 countries.
