Join this Mid Shires Branch event with the Northamptonshire police dog section.
Northamptonshire police dog section uses specially trained dogs for key policing tasks, including drug detection, search and rescue, and crime prevention. These dogs are trained to locate items linked to these activities across a range of situations.
This event will explore:
- the risks involved in police dog handling
- the areas in which the dogs operate, and
- how these risks are managed through teamwork and collaboration with other units.
Organised in conjunction with Northamptonshire Occupational Safety and Health Association (NOSHEA).
