Session 1: Biological safety and facility tour

Presenter: Chloe Ward BSc (Hons), Biological Safety Officer, Teesside University

This session features:

  • a guided tour of the state-of-the-art Bios facility
  • insights into biological safety practices
  • immersive simulation suites.

You’ll get a look inside different areas of the facility, including:

  • operating theatres
  • digital anatomy
  • oral health, food science, and biology labs
  • clinical hospital ward.

Session 2: Coaching for health and safety professionals

Presenter: Michael Emery CMIOSH

Michael delivers a taster from the IOSH-approved Coaching for Safety course. Discover how coaching techniques can empower health and safety professionals to better support managers and teams.
