If you would like to become an accredited Vision Zero trainer, there are two options:

Deliver the new Vision Zero training course

How?

This route is for individual trainers, and training providers, who want to become Vision Zero trainers, accredited by IOSH, and expand their training portfolio with a new course.

This new course can be delivered face-to-face or remotely through virtual platforms and consists of one day’s learning (six hours).

Accredited Vision Zero trainers get access to a complete Vision Zero training package (see benefits below).

Criteria - all trainers must meet the following conditions
  • Minimum 2 years OSH experience (either training or as a practitioner) and/or Level 3 OSH Qualification;
  • Membership of an OSH professional body;
  • Completion of the Vision Zero Train The Trainer course (unless you're an existing IOSH-accredited training provider)
  • Obtain the license to the Vision Zero training course
Benefits
  • By becoming an accredited Vision Zero trainer you will gain access to the internationally recognised quality training materials and the ISSA and IOSH brands.
  • The high quality materials that you'll be delivering will have the greatest impact in your market and will help to save lives.
  • ISSA and IOSH will run promotional campaigns to help you attract more students to your course leading to faster income growth for your business.
  • The Vision Zero training course can be delivered face-to-face or remotely through virtual platforms (eg. video conferencing).
  • This is a one-day training course, creating minimum disruption to your employees and your organisation’s operations.
  • Accredited Vision Zero trainers get access to a complete Vision Zero training package including an e-learning Vision Zero Train the Trainer course, access to an online trainer portal allowing you to order digital workbooks and certificates for delegates, fully developed presentation to deliver the Vision Zero training course, step-by-step trainer notes, and IOSH’s support and advice for accredited trainers.

Develop your own Vision Zero training course and get it approved by IOSH

How?

For existing Vision Zero trainers or companies who have already developed their own Vision Zero course and would like to get it approved by IOSH.

Criteria - all trainers must meet the following conditions
  • Minimum 2 years OSH experience (either training or as a practitioner) and/or Level 3 OSH Qualification;
  • Membership of an OSH professional body;
  • Completion of the Vision Zero Train The Trainer course (unless you're an existing IOSH-accredited training provider)
  • Submit your own Vision Zero course to obtain IOSH approval

IOSH will consider any Vision Zero related training course, in any delivery format and work with you to help your course get approved by IOSH.

We can give you guidance and resources to help turn your raw materials into a structured course. You can download our Training Guidance Book for more information, and read through our Face to Face standards or e-learning standards to see what we’re looking for.

Your training course will be assessed against IOSH standards and, if successful, you will be able to use a dedicated ISSA-IOSH Vision Zero logo, thereby demonstrating the same high standards of quality attributed to our own courses. IOSH can support you to develop any materials that do not meet our standards.

Benefits

Access to the ISSA brand and the opportunity to create bespoke courses to a specific need will open up unrivalled opportunities for your organisation’s growth and development.

Getting your Vision Zero course approved by IOSH will demonstrate that:

  • the course content contains relevant health and safety information
  • the course is positioned at the appropriate level of the audience
  • the course materials optimise the learner experience, and
  • the course meets the highest standards of trainer competence and course quality.
