Rural Industries Group

About us

We have over 2,300 members, and our main focus is on professionals who work in isolated or remote locations.

We also provide industry news from a wide range of sources on our comprehensive, up-to-date webpages.

The IOSH Rural Industries Group covers agriculture, horticulture, forestry, fisheries, conservation, equine activities, rural estate management and other businesses that get their income from the rural economy.

Watch the 'Introduction to Forest Safety Video' on YouTube.

The Rural Industries group:

  • Runs sector-specific events.
  • Sits on the Health and Safety Executive's Agriculture Industry Advisory Committee, its project groups and other committees to influence and motivate the industry to improve health and safety standards.
  • Has compiled an advisory panel of members to offer a readily available pool of knowledge for members to access
  • Works closely with other branches and groups, particularly the Ireland Branches Rural Industries Section.

Don't forget to follow us on Twitter and also on LinkedIn for group event and news updates.

To join the group, please email the Customer Service team, quoting your membership number, and they will be able to add or change your group.
