Environmental Law Update – Meeting report

22 November 2018

Meeting Report

On 22 November the IOSH Yorkshire branch had a very interesting and thought-provoking environmental update from Craig Burman of Schofield Sweeney Solicitors.

From Enforcement Undertakings to waste scams, Trump to Brexit, duty of care to Japanese knotweed, stolen scrap metal skips to Sentencing Guidelines and updates to Environment Agency powers, we covered some of the environmental hot topics of the moment and Craig shared with us his insights from recent cases and his time at the Environment Agency

Andy Robertson of IOSH EWMG looked back over the last 12 months achievements and looked forward to planned activities for EWMG members with Yorkshire Branch event attendees
