About us

Welcome to the IOSH West Wales Branch.

The aim of the West Wales Branch is to further the objectives of IOSH, promote communication and engagement in occupational health and safety, and support our members.

West Wales is unique in becoming an energy centre in the UK with major oil, gas and electricity generating plants. Our varied programme covers a wide range of topics with specialist speakers, CPD opportunities, a shared sense of community, and we have site visits to construction projects and operating facilities.

We encourage you to join our branch events, because they are an excellent way to make new contacts, pick up the latest news and ideas on best practice, and network with other local health and safety professionals. If we can, we will also assist and support you with IOSH membership grade advancements.

Everyone is welcome, so if you are a new or potential member, please contact us at westwales@ioshnetworks.com

Finally, as Chair of the West Wales branch, I would like to say a special thank you to the committee for their continued support, a thank you to existing members, and a special and warm welcome to new and future members.

David Thomas
Branch Chair
