West of Scotland goes from strength to strength

Another two-year term has come about, and it was time to build on the success in which the Branch Executive have had. As per our constitution there was a change of Office, with George Mills passing the Chain of Office to Vice Chair Fred Cullum at the recent AGM in April. Officiating at the AGM was Past President Craig Foyle who presented the Chain of Office to Fred. Fred’s Vice Chair is Branch Executive Member Alex Petrie.

Already the refreshed Programme of Events are outlined on the Branch Website.

We are delighted to announce that two Members of the Branch were issued with the Presidents Distinguished Award, Douglas Connell and Jim Tassell for their long-standing contribution to the Branch.

We have two committee members stepping down from the Branch Executive Douglas Connell and David Allan who have had over 25 years experience supporting the Committee. The Executive Committee on behalf of the Branch thank them both for their commitment.
