Co-operation between safety groups

Another great event for the branch with 65 people in attendance to hear great speakers on  interesting and ‘in demand’ subjects.

Tudor Williams – Branch Chair, gave an overview of the branch updates and forward programme including events that are focussed on the feedback given by participants in our meeting on the 23rd July

Dr. Karen McDonnell OHS Policy Advisor – ROSPA. – gave us great detail on co-operation between safety groups during Covid-19, what have we learned and how will it shape collaboration going forward. Karen’s wide experience across both ROSPA and IOSH allowed for a balanced presentation and reference to examples of shared working, benefits, and opportunities.

Ashley St John-Claire -  Manchester and North West Districts IOSH

Delivered a fantastic presentation on a branch perspective in regard to collaboration. Ashley’s experience as part of a branch and network  that have delivered an innovative, responsive, and well supported programme was a great insight and additional dimension to the meeting.

All of the topics had great depth and showed how valuable our monthly seminars are continuing to be. Our speakers are all experts in their fields and bring a lot to these events and the branch in general.

If you missed out, or indeed you want to recap and benefit from the presentations and resources you can access these in our recent events page.
