About us
South Downs is the local branch of IOSH in Sussex, it's the place to go to meet fellow practitioners, keep up to date on health and safety related topics and discuss current events.
We welcome all members to our meetings whether you are a South Downs Branch member or a member from another branch. Non-members are also very welcome to attend meetings, so if you know someone who might be interested, please do encourage them to come along.
The committee is always on hand to improve your professional competence, supporting CPD and IPD, or just to give friendly advice. Representing all grades of membership, we are an active, enthusiastic and very friendly group of volunteers working hard to benefit you.
Our branch generally meets every first Tuesday of the month from 18:30 to 21:00. There are occasions where we may have to change the date and or time, so please look out for communications through our network pages, Facebook and Twitter as well as IOSH emails. If you do miss a speaker, we aim to provide presentations on our network and social media pages.
We very much look forward to seeing you at our next branch meeting
Don't forget to follow us on Twitter for branch event and news updates.
