About us
Welcome to the website for the Northern Ireland Branch of IOSH.
In Northern Ireland we currently have a membership of over 700 and this number is steadily growing. The branch committee aims to represent members by running the branch effectively, in accordance with the Institution's by-laws, aims and objectives.
Our focus is on assisting our members with personal development and helping individuals to progress through the membership structure. We provide mentoring to help members work towards Chartered status. If you would like any further information about mentoring please contact the branch Secretary.
Our branch meetings and events are a great opportunity to network with like minded professionals, exchange knowledge and information and keep abreast of the latest developments in the industry. We aim to provide a variety of interesting and informative events throughout the coming year. Everyone is welcome, including non-members, so if you know of someone who might like to attend, please encourage them to come along.
The Northern Ireland Branch continues to be active in the wider community. We believe that when it comes to health and safety, only advice from qualified, experienced and skilled professionals will do. That's why we are always keen to develop alliances with local organisations as we strive to influence a full spectrum of businesses by promoting the ethos of sensible risk management.
Details of events can be found on the Branch events page. We look forward to seeing you at our events.
Don't forget to follow us on LinkedIn & Twitter for branch event and news updates.
