North East of Scotland - letter from the Chair

Welcome to the IOSH North East of Scotland Branch, representing around a thousand health and safety professionals across the North East of Scotland.

Throughout the year we provide members, visitors and guests with opportunities to improve or fine-tune their skills and knowledge on a wide range of topical issues in health and safety and many other associated subjects of interest, selected following membership consultation. Our meetings also provide an opportunity for discussion and networking and we also arrange site visits throughout the year.

We have an active and enthusiastic Committee of volunteers working hard to benefit our members and to provide the best development opportunities. Assistance is always on hand whether mentoring is required or to assist with CPD and IPD, or even just to give friendly advice.

As members, it is your Branch and there are opportunities to get involved by joining the Committee or even just volunteering your assistance from time to time as we strive to continually improve our Branch activities and raise standards in health and safety.

Details of each event including the start time and location can be found in the events section of our website. Our meetings take place on the second Wednesday of each month from September to November and January to June. Our AGM is in May.
