Lithium-ion batteries and the hazards

Lithium-ion batteries used to power equipment are increasingly linked to serious fires in workplaces and residential buildings, so those in charge of such environments must assess and control the risks.

Andre Turner, Fire Investigation Manager for Essex County Fire and Rescue Service, will deliver a presentation to the Forth and Tay Branch about lithium-ion batteries and the hazards they pose.
