Child safety in the car

Summary
Travelling with children in the car comes with great responsibility. However, did you know that keeping children rear-facing in their car seats, to the minimum age of four, is over five times safer than allowing them to travel forward-facing in a harness?
In a collision at as little as 30mph, the forces exerted on the child's head, neck, and spine are 300kg in a forward-facing seat with a harness, as opposed to only 50kg in a rear-facing harnessed seat.
Join this North East of Scotland Branch online event to discuss how not all car seats are made equally. Led by Deborah Baulch.
