Become an accredited Vision Zero trainer

Deliver excellent training using the Vision Zero strategy

The International Social Security Association (ISSA) has partnered with IOSH to ensure its Vision Zero strategy can be implemented by organisations around the world through quality training.

What is Vision Zero?

Vision Zero is ISSA’s global initiative to eradicate all work-related accidents and illness. The campaign is centred on three core values: safety, health and wellbeing - and it is guided by 7 Golden Rules.

Taking a strong, proactive approach, Vision Zero promotes a modern workplace culture of prevention. Its flexibility means it can be embedded in organisations of any size and industry… and in any country across the world.

Our partnership

ISSA has partnered with IOSH to help deliver its global Vision Zero message. IOSH has been delivering quality training products that have helped promote occupational health and safety since 1945, so this partnership will enable the Vision Zero strategy to be embedded into organisations across the globe meeting the IOSH standard.

The Vision Zero strategy aims to make the world of work a safer place. You can play your part by becoming an accredited Vision Zero trainer and delivering the strategy though training.

Why become an accredited Vision Zero trainer?

IOSH trainers have helped to promote safety and health in the workplace since 1945. With our knowledge and expertise, we’re providing accredited trainers with the tools to deliver and embed the Vison Zero strategy into organisations, meeting the IOSH standard.

Option 1: Deliver your own Vision Zero training course and get it approved by IOSH

Click to find out more

Who is it for?

For existing Vision Zero trainers or companies who have already developed their own Vision Zero course and would like to get it approved by IOSH.

How?

IOSH will consider any Vision Zero related training course, in any delivery format and work with you to help your course get approved by IOSH.

We can give you guidance and resources to help turn your raw materials into a structured course. You can download our Training Guidance Book for more information, and read through our Face to Face standards or e-learning standards to see what we’re looking for.

Your training course will be assessed against IOSH standards and, if successful, you will be able to use a dedicated ISSA-IOSH Vision Zero logo, thereby demonstrating the same high standards of quality attributed to our own courses. IOSH can support you to develop any materials that do not meet our standards.

There is a cost to get your course approved. This course goes into supporting the ongoing management, quality and governance of the course and will include access to the IOSH and Vision Zero logo for promoting the course. Other proceedings will go back into supporting the campaign and OSH prevention activities.
