Summary
Sustainability-related legislation is increasing in the EU and the UK, and customer demands and expectations for sustainability-related data are growing. So it’s important to get a good understanding of what is here already and to prepare for the future.
This workshop will:
- clarify what ‘sustainable’ means in the context of a business operating in society and the wider environment.
- introduce ‘free-to-use’ tools which are available to help businesses map out where they stand.
- show how Johnstons of Elgin uses the tools to identify hotspots, opportunities and threats to the business.
There will be time for a Q&A to explore how this relates to workers’ safety and working conditions.
