The power of human factors

Date

Understanding how people interact with systems is critical to improving both safety and performance.

The effective application of human factors can enhance wellbeing, reduce risk and drive better operational outcomes. But the science of understanding interactions between people, environments and systems of work are posing an increased complexity for organisations.

In this webinar, brought to you by the IOSH Public Services Community, we explore the fundamentals of human factors in the workplace. Hosted by Matt Herrington of the committee, we welcome Paul Salkeld, Senior Human Factors Engineer with Transport for London.

Importantly, the session will also create space to reflect on your own organisation and consider new ideas and practical approaches for embedding human factors into different industries and contexts.

Whether you’re new to human factors or looking to strengthen your approach, this session will provide clear, actionable takeaways to help you enhance both human wellbeing and organisational performance.

This webinar is open to both IOSH members and non-members.
