Train the Trainer course terms and conditions

This page (together with the documents referred to in it) tells you ("you" means the individual reading these terms and conditions) the terms and conditions on which we (“we”, “us”, “our” means IOSH Services Limited (“ISL”)) offer the IOSH Train the Trainer course and is to be read in conjunction with our General Terms and Conditions and Website Use (“General Terms”). If there is an inconsistency between any of the provisions of this agreement and the General Terms, the provisions of these terms and conditions shall prevail.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before purchasing the Train the Trainer course. You should understand that by purchasing the Train the Trainer course, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

While we will make every effort to keep changes to a minimum, we may make amendments to the terms and conditions at any time to reflect changes in market conditions affecting our business, changes to technology, changes in payment methods, changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and changes in our systems capabilities. By continuing to use the website (www.iosh.com) and any other IOSH websites and platforms/channels, you agree to accept any changes made to the terms and conditions.

You should keep a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.

    1.1. Booking forms for the Train the Trainer course are completed via the IOSH website. Our Customer Support Team will contact you following booking form receipt, to arrange payment. If you need to contact the bookings team, please email csc@iosh.com.

    1.2. Your invitation to the Train the Trainer e-learning platform will be sent directly to you as soon as possible once payment has been received.

    1.3. If invitation to the e-learning platform has not been received following payment, then you must contact our Customer Support Team.

    1.4. Photographic identification will be required for completion of the Train the Trainer assessment. The names on your photographic identification must match the names registered on the booking. Should there be a need to amend your registered name post-registration, an additional administrative fee of £20+VAT will be incurred. The 10 working days allocated to processing your assessment submission will not begin until your registered course name has been approved as matching your photographic identification.

    1.5. All certification for Train the Trainer is in digital format only. Certificates will be sent to you by email following successful completion of the course and passing of the assessment.

    1.6. You may cancel your booking and receive a full refund up to 14 working days following purchase of the course, provided you have not logged in to the e-learning platform and accessed the course materials.

    1.7. You may apply for a refund by contacting our Customer Support Team on csc@iosh.com or by telephone on +44 (0) 116 350 0800 (opening hours: 09:00–17:00 UK time, Monday to Friday). You will be refunded the booking amount less a £20.00 administration charge. If you decide to cancel your registration after 14 days of payment or after logging in to the e-learning platform, you will not have the right to receive any refund.

    2.1. Allocation of a place on the Train the Trainer course is only guaranteed once payment has been received in full, or in the case of a course paid by an employer, on receipt of a valid purchase order. Confirmation of both the payment and place will be issued by our Customer Support Team once the payment has cleared, or the valid purchase order is received. If the full payment or valid purchase order is not received within 28 days of the booking request, the booking will automatically be cancelled.     2.2. All course rates are payable in pounds sterling (GBP) with the addition of Value Added Tax (“VAT”) for learners based within the UK. 

    2.3. It is your responsibility to ensure that your payment had been received and verified by the Customer Support Team and that you have received confirmation of your booking.

    If you wish to pay, discuss payment, or make a payment for an application, please contact our Customer Support Team on csc@iosh.com or by telephone on +44 (0) 116 350 0800 (opening hours: 09:00–17:00 UK time, Monday to Friday).

    3.1. It is your responsibility to have both access to adequate wifi, and to ensure you can log-on to the e-learning platform prior commencing the course.

    4.1 Should you have any issues or feedback on anything related to Train the Trainer, we advise contacting our Customer Support Centre by emailing csc@iosh.com or calling +44 (0) 116 350 0800 in the first instance.

    4.2 To allow us to attend your concerns in the most appropriate manner, please include the following information when raising a complaint:

    1. your name and contact details 
    2. your membership number (if applicable) 
    3. full details of the failure of service including any dates, location and witnesses 
    4. how you have been affected 
    5. the outcome you would consider a satisfactory resolution.
