Our membership team can assess qualifications from any country and advise on whether you need additional qualifications.

Most Certified Members progress to Chartered (CMIOSH) within two to four years.

The Professional Development Assessment (PDA) route typically takes up to 18 months.

The key is building the strategic experience and competence required for Chartered status.

Certified (CertIOSH) recognises senior-level competence and is the gateway to Chartered status.

Chartered (CMIOSH) is the highest professional credential in occupational safety and health. It is internationally recognised as showing mastery-level competence.

Chartered Members can use the designation “Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner” and are seen as leaders in the profession.
