Visit a flagship education project that showcases innovative approaches to sustainability in learning environments.

You’ll learn:

  • how sustainable design principles such as Passivhaus are applied in a live school project
  • how to achieve top‑level environmental performance in energy use, building design and nature‑friendly development.
  • how the project is aiming to become the first school in Europe to meet the WELL Building Standard.

This visit focuses on the ‘Compliance Project’ at Glyncoch Primary, a pioneering school using best practice in sustainability and wellbeing.

It’s a great opportunity to see a future-focused development. You’ll gain insight into leading-edge construction standards and understand how high levels of sustainability are being delivered in Wales.
