Summary
An in‑person event in Ipswich exploring practical realities, everyday challenges and what effectiveness looks like in real‑world settings.
As occupational safety and health (OSH) professionals, we face complexity daily. This session focuses on when to simplify and how to be more effective in real situations, combining ethics, competence and practical application.
You’ll learn:
- how ethics influence real OSH decisions
- the personal traits behind professional judgement
- what “sales in safety” teaches us about real influence
- how to apply the IOSH Code of Conduct in practice
- how to work through real scenarios in a practical continuing professional development (CPD) workshop.
This event is designed to challenge thinking, encourage discussion and provide practical takeaways. It is also a great opportunity to connect with the East Anglia community.
Who should attend?
This free event is open to IOSH members and non-members.
