Explore practical approaches to improving safety culture, with a focus on positive behaviours, personal responsibility and making sound decisions.

You’ll learn:

  • what effective leadership looks like in complex, high‑pressure environments
  • how leadership behaviours directly influence safety outcomes
  • how to lead confidently in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) world through clarity, trust and consistency
  • the impact of everyday leadership actions beyond systems and procedures.

This face‑to‑face event is led by two experienced safety and leadership practitioners. They will draw on insights from major retail organisations, risk‑critical environments and crisis leadership.

It’s a great opportunity to explore how leadership behaviours shape safety culture, create shared ownership of health and safety and influence a positive approach across organisations.

This free event is open to IOSH members and non-members.
