Building Safety Act Update

Manchester and NWD Community

Date
23 June 2026
Type
Event

Summary

Take part in a practical, insight-driven session focused on how the legislation is being applied in real settings, with opportunities to learn, share perspectives, and engage with others working in this space.

You’ll learn:

  • how the Building Safety Act is being applied in practice, through real-life experiences shared by Dr Shaun Lundy
  • insights into working with the Building Safety Regulator and what this means for professionals
  • how effective OSH conversations can influence outcomes beyond compliance

This session includes an interactive Talkworks experience delivered in partnership with Ripple&Co.

It’s a great opportunity to explore the conversation gap that can allow risks, near misses and unsafe behaviours to go unaddressed.
