We’re reviewing our competency framework – and looking for members at all grades to join the discussions. President-Elect Richard Bate CFIOSH shares why it's important to get involved.
So much is happening in the IOSH world during 2025. Kelly is in post as our new president, there are changes to networks, branches becoming communities, and a really important review of our competency framework.
You might remember that IOSH emailed you back on 10 December, inviting you to take part in the IOSH competency framework review. We also sent a reminder this week.
If you missed these, I encourage you to check your email and register to attend. Your participation will not only help shape the future of our profession but also provide you with a unique learning opportunity.
IOSH, like the world of occupational safety and health (OSH), is constantly evolving. But we cannot move forward without you, our fantastic membership. Please get involved with our focus groups to help us set the standards and ensure that we deliver changes that align with your needs and expectations.
Standing still in our rapidly evolving profession is not an option – join us on the journey to help us all become better professionals.
Thank you to the members who have already registered their interest and contributed to our initiatives. Your involvement is greatly appreciated.
I look forward to joining you in focus groups.
