Why attend?

Violence and aggression has a major impact on the overall quality of working life for staff and their families. Impacts from such episodes can also affect other users of services as well as the quality of care received.

With a focus on exploring the approaches to violence and aggression, this event will:

  • offer enhanced knowledge and information from industry experts to influence positive systems in the workplace, including innovations and best practices.
  • aid understanding of the common causes and potential failures in the management of violence and aggression.
  • provide practical advice and guidance on identifying triggers, restraint and the use of force, de-escalation and incident support.

These learning opportunities will count towards your continuing professional development (CPD) and career development. All delegates will have access to the conference app (Swapcard) and will have access to resources and the conference programme.

There will also be opportunity to network with other professionals before, during and after the event, as well exploring the exhibition.
