IOSH Construction Conference 2024

The IOSH Construction Group is delighted to bring you this one-day conference in collaboration with 3M. Designed to share updates in innovation and improvements for health and safety in construction, this event will include areas of culture and behaviour, risk management, wellbeing and communication.

Why attend?

As one of the world’s largest industries, with 60,000 people worldwide dying on construction sites every year and 475 work-related accidents occurring every minute, it is vital we continue to grow, change, collaborate and innovate to protect people and prevent harm.  

This conference brings together health and safety professionals from all over, as well as collaborations between IOSH, 3M, The Construction Industry Advisory Committee (CONIAC) and the National Federation of Builders (NFB) with the sole aim of providing delegates with the information and tools to improve how they manage and promote health and safety within their own organisations.

In addition to a tour of 3M’s innovation centre, there will also be technological demonstrations by HSS and in scaffolding and working at height, as well as sessions on:

• Health and safety in design
• Wellbeing and psychological safety
• Temporary works

These learning opportunities will count towards your continuing professional development (CPD) and career development. All delegates will have access to the conference app (Swapcard) and will have access to resources and the conference programme.

There will also be opportunity to network with other professionals before, during and after the event, as well exploring the conference exhibition.
