Operator's resources

Workers in any industry need to be aware of the hazards and risks they are exposed at work, given the sometimes harsh environment equipment is used in in the food and drink industry the hazard posed by electricity needs to be understood by everyone. In this section we specifically take operatives through the risks associated with electricity and electrical work in their work places with valuable information on working safely with electricity and the importance reporting their concerns with the aim that everyone goes home safely at the end of their shift.

The 10 minute high impact interactive training film aims to achieve a good level of understanding by operatives of this hazard, with a clear message that if taken for granted can cause life changing and fatal injuries. Tool box talks are also provided which can be used to check on understanding and reinforce from time to time this important aspect of workplace safety.
