Updates on our services and systems

What’s happening and how it affects you

We've upgraded several IOSH systems, including a new membership database, which means improvements to your IOSH journey whether you're a member, a training provider or a training delegate.

The current status of various IOSH services and platforms. Last updated 9.00am, Friday 22 May 2026.

    Status: Infrequent payment problems

    Some users have experienced issues during payment, but don't worry - your payment and membership will always be protected.

    Your status can take a few hours to be reflected after payment. If your payment fails, try using a different payment card.

    You can contact customer services to resolve any problems.

    Status: Intermittent payment issues

    Some users have experienced difficulty paying, and delays updating their membership status. Your membership and credentials will be always protected. If your payment fails, you can try using a different payment card. 

    You can contact customer services for support.

    Status: Delays processing membership

    Upgrading is a manual process, and some members may be experiencing delays.

    We aim to process upgrades within 10 working days, but it may take longer. Your application is safe and being processed.

    If you are experiencing a delay of over three weeks, please contact customer services.

    Status: Infrequent errors

    Visitors to the website account area may experience occasional access issues and errors. If you experience issues, you can try logging out and back in again.

    If you experience persistent errors, please contact customer services.

    Status: Intermittent payment and Blueprint login issues

    Some users have experienced payment issues, and Blueprint has intermittent login issues.

    Your payment will always be protected. You can try using a different payment card if payment fails. If you have asked to reset your password, remember to check your email Spam folder for the reset link. 

    You can contact customer services for persistent issues.

    Status: Login, payment and course management issues

    Users have reported issues with password reset emails, purchasing certificates and amending course details. We are working to fix these issues.

    We recommend you avoid using the system behind a VPN (Virtual Private Network), and always check your email Spam folder for password resets. If you are still struggling to log in, please contact your organisation's administration team.

    You can contact customer services if you experience persistent errors - make sure you can provide full details and a screenshot of the issue.

    Status: Occasional issues

    The certificate checker is working, but some users have reported issues retrieving their certificate details.

    Please make sure the details you enter match exactly what appears on your certificate - there is guidance on the checker pages to help.

    Status: Stable

    The qualifications directory is working, but if you experience any issues please contact customer services.

What’s the latest?

We're currently working on resolving issues as a result of our database upgrade, that we know are getting in the way of your experience with IOSH.

Customer services

If something isn't working, you can contact our customer services team to log a support ticket so we can assist you.

If you've already logged a support ticket, there is no need to raise another for the same issue - our team are dealing with a high volume of calls, so there may be a delay in responding to you.

And you don't need to try and contact us through another channel, such as our social media accounts.

We understand how frustrating these issues and delays will be, and we really appreciate your patience while we get everything up and running.

Training providers

We're upgrading the training provider portal to make it easier to use. These changes will give you better tools to register and manage your training courses, and help keep you audit-ready.

We're aware some users may be experiencing issues with the following tasks:

  • ordering workbooks
  • adding delegates and courses
  • amending and resulting courses
  • issuing certificates
  • invoicing and payments issues
  • accessing the training provider portal

Our team are working hard to resolve these issues and respond to all customer service tickets raised by users. Thank you for your patience during this transition period.

Members

We're working to improve your member experience and provide better online services. You can find out what's changed on the IOSH website, or head straight to the new account area.

Previously, your member account and the main IOSH website were separate. Now it’s all in one place, so you won't need to switch between different sites.

When you log in, you’ll find your account easier to navigate. Your membership information is at the top. Below are your member websites, details and preferences.

Renewals and upgrades

We are working on reported issues with members being able to renew or upgrade their membership, so changes may not be immediately showing in your member dashboard.

Standard members paying by card can renew online in 'membership information' or on the website. If you're a concessionary, group or student member, contact our customer services team to renew or upgrade.
