Several members have received Presidential awards to mark their dedicated service and work for IOSH and the occupational safety and health profession more widely. The awards reflect the distinctive contributions made by each individual.
Reward for commitment
A President’s Commendation Award is a mark of excellence in service to IOSH and the occupational safety and health profession.
Individuals who are not IOSH members may be eligible to receive the Award, for significant contributions to the wider health and safety community.

- Matt Hall – for revitalising community engagement and fostering international collaboration.
- Council Members: James Hymers, Yvette Moffatt, Carly Hughes, Tiffany Argent – for exceptional commitment and active participation in IOSH governance.
President’s Distinguished Service Award

- Bobby Chakravarthy – for steady leadership as Interim Chair during a period of change.
- Nominations Committee: Richard Bryne, Alan Haigh, Laura Aucott – for strengthening governance and improving senior volunteer recruitment processes.
Nominate someone
Do you know of an IOSH member who you think deserves to be given public recognition for the voluntary work they have done for IOSH directly or for our wider community? Why not nominate them for a President’s Commendation Award?
If they’ve made an outstanding contribution and impact, you can nominate them for a President’s Distinguished Service Award.
Get involved – volunteer for IOSH!
