Types of membership
There are seven membership categories available depending on your career status. You’ll join as either an Affiliate Member or Student Member. Your experience, qualifications and aspirations will then determine which journey you take through the membership categories.
How much does it cost?
Affiliate Membership costs £208.00 (£147.00 membership fee and £61.00 joining fee) for one year. Once you've joined as an Affiliate Member we'll support you in transferring to the membership category which reflects your knowledge, qualifications and experience.
Students can join for a one-off fee of £15 whilst actively studying.
You may also qualify for concessionary membership.
Prices are valid until March 2024.
Reasonable adjustments
IOSH wants to ensure its membership application processes are fair to all. It’s important no member, or potential member, is at a disadvantage.
The Institution offers reasonable adjustments. These are changes to remove or reduce a disadvantage related to someone’s disability or condition. Allowing extra time for an assessment is one example.
