Retired members

Members who have retired completely from working life can continue their membership at a concessionary rate. The options are as follows:

With CPD:

If you want to keep your Technical, Graduate, Chartered or Chartered Fellow status you will need to maintain your CPD record online via MyIOSH. Ensuring that it meets our standard of compliance and is updated throughout the year, with at least six activities and an up to date development plan. You will need to re-apply for the concessionary rate on an annual basis if you choose this option.

Without CPD:

If you decide not to maintain your CPD then you will NOT need to re-apply for the concessionary rate the following year. Your renewal will automatically be reduced to the concessionary rate going forward.
