Working at height remains one of the most significant risks in the workplace and is the leading cause of fatal injuries. This event brings together health and safety professionals from across Ireland and Northern Ireland to explore practical approaches to managing risk, sharing learning and improving outcomes.
Hosted jointly by the IOSH Northern Ireland, Ireland and Ireland Construction Communities, the programme will feature expert-led sessions on:
- working at height – practical insights into one of the leading causes of workplace fatalities and serious injuries
- cross-border regulatory collaboration – exploring how shared regulation shapes safer workplaces across Ireland and Northern Ireland
- shared learning in action – real experiences, lessons learned and the power of collaboration in improving safety outcomes.
Alongside the programme, we will also mark a landmark milestone – six decades, three communities, one shared commitment to keeping people safe. We celebrate 60 years of collaboration and safety across our communities.
At the heart of this event, we celebrate the people. We’ll take the opportunity to formally recognise the volunteers and committee members whose dedication continues to drive our communities forward.
IOSH President Richard Bate will help mark this significant anniversary and reflect on the strength of our Northern Ireland and Ireland Communities.
Join us to gain practical insights, share experiences with peers, and help shape the future of workplace safety.
