Summary

Join the South Cumbria and North Lancashire Community and explore the legal consequences of fire safety failures through a realistic mock trial based on a fire safety prosecution case.

You’ll learn how:

  • fire safety breaches can lead to prosecution and legal action
  • investigations gather and assess evidence following an incident
  • prosecution and defence arguments are presented and challenged in court.

This interactive session follows the progression of a fictional but realistic fire safety incident, from the initial event through to the courtroom verdict.
