Everyday, people make a significant contribution to occupational safety and health.
IOSH has two awards which recognise these contributions: the President’s Distinguished Service Award (PDSA) and the President’s Commendation Award (PCA).
The PDSA is the ‘higher’ of the two awards and is presented to those who meet the criteria. The PCA, introduced in May 2021, sits below the PDSA and is applicable to people who do not meet the criteria for a PDSA but who deserve recognition.
Both awards can be presented to individuals or groups of people. They can be awarded to non-IOSH members.
More details of how to make a nomination and the criteria for both awards are available on the nomination forms.
