President’s Distinguished Service Award – December 2021

Anne Isaacs is the last recipient in 2021 of the IOSH President’s Distinguished Service Award.

Anne has been a dedicated member for 10 years and has held many volunteering roles across IOSH. Over the years, she has been an active Council member, a member of the Fire Risk Management Group committee, Chair of the London Met Branch and a trustee on the IOSH Benevolent Fund.

Her enthusiasm and drive can be seen through the positive impact she has had in helping to move the OSH profession forward, improving equality, diversity and inclusion across IOSH and encouraging IOSH members and others to develop to get involved.

Anne is supportive of all those in the OSH profession. She has supported and encouraged new members of Council and mentored new trustees of the Benevolent Fund. She even took part in a sponsored parachute jump to help raise funds for it.

Anne has also been a member of the Networks and the Communications Member Advisory Panels, acting as one of the judges in the Excellence in Communications Award. This work encourages OSH professionals to be the best that they can be and recognises their achievements.

It is fitting that Anne is recognised for her own passion and contributions for the OSH profession.
