This is a very exciting time to join our volunteer community as we near the end of our ambitious five-year strategy and start developing the evolution of WORK 2022. With a wide range of key volunteering opportunities now open with varying responsibilities we are seeking eligible members to step forward.

Nominations Committee Chair and Committee Member
Applications open today and close 17:00, 2 August, with interviews likely to take place from 25 August to 17 September.
Acting as an advisory committee to Council, the Nominations Committee is tasked with ensuring that key volunteer positions across the IOSH governance structure are filled with the most suitable candidates, recruited via open, fair and consistent processes.
The search is on to find new members of this influential committee which include four members (must be a Council member), nine others (a mix of IOSH members and non-members) and a Chair (must be a Corporate member).
The Committee would benefit from individuals with a range of skills and expertise including knowledge and experience of human resources and recruitment.

Applications for two new Vice-Presidents open today and close on Sunday 08 August.
In this role you will, represent IOSH globally, support the delivery of our strategy and help us enhance the safety and health profession. You will also have the opportunity to support IOSH's collaborations through engagements with our global partners.
Candidates for Vice-President must be a Chartered Fellow, or Chartered Member who is also a member of Council, a Network Committee, Standing Committee, Sub-Committee or Working Party.

If you have an interest in shaping the future of the profession and your professional body and are passionate about ensuring the views of your fellow members are represented then maybe this is your year to put yourself forward as a candidate to join the IOSH Council.
The nomination process for this year’s 12 new Council members opened last week, with applications set to close on 22 July. If long listed panel interviews will take place between the 16 to 26 August and successful candidates will be put forward to the membership vote between 13 September and 14 October.
