Dear FRMS member,
I’m pleased to announce that the FRMS are holding an evening presentation on the Fire Risk
Management topic of “SWEEPING EVACUATION STRATEGIES” on Tuesday the 21st of May till 2019
between 19.00 and 20.00hrs followed by our Annual General Meeting (AGM) from 20.00 till 21.00
The AGM is your chance to get involved with shaping the activity of your local committee.
Whether this is through volunteering for a committee place yourself, or voting in a candidate who
you think will work for the benefit of the local members, your voice is important.

- The Health and Safety Authority have published a new guide on Managing Ergonomic Risk to Improve Musculoskeletal Health and we would like to ensure that as many health and safety professional as possible get to know about it; as it is essential reading for anyone who manages ergonomic risks in a workplace setting in an Irish workplace. The guide includes reference to the Health and Safety Executive Mac Tool, Art Tool and Rapp Tool in the risk assessment process.
