The IOSH Sports Ground and Events Group has over 700 members, the group aims to unite those who share common interests and goals to become a definitive voice in health and safety issues relating to sports grounds and events.
The group is currently recruiting for a number of Committee members – if you’d like to make a difference in the industry, we’d welcome your application to join us. Please complete the attached form, which includes a short statement on what you could bring to the group.
Chairman, Richard Limb is very keen to gain the support of like-minded individuals to continue to drive this exciting group forward. An opportunity to make a difference, have your say, promote and facilitate safety issues, and be involved with your professional body representing the wonderful world of sports grounds and events. Channel your passion, enthusiasm and commitment through the group and make a rewarding difference.
To join as a Committee member, you’ll need to:
- be working in the sports ground or events industry
- have direct experience of involvement in the central governance/committee structure
- have experience of delivering value in a professional environment (on a paid or voluntary basis)
- be familiar with IOSH’s current strategy.
The group supports diversity and inclusion and is seeking to ensure this is reflected in the membership of the committee.
In return for giving up your time as a volunteer, IOSH will pay reasonable expenses.
