South Wales Branch - letter from the Chair

On behalf of the South Wales Branch Committee, welcome to our programme. Our aim at the branch is to offer a diverse programme to our members, effectively communicated offering the maximum opportunity for participation. Our programme is always evolving. In addition to a range of excellent, competent speakers on subjects we know our members have requested we have a programme of continuous improvement where we are developing the professional standing of those who wish to progress and develop their careers. We continually uphold the objectives of IOSH WORK 2022 – ENHANCE COLLABORATE INFLUENCE.

I urge all members to look regularly at our website, look out for our regular ‘mailers and Connect’ communications and take advantage of the opportunities I and my committee are working hard to bring you. Individually and collectively they offer great opportunities for professional enhancement in our profession.

Meetings are usually free to attend and visitors and new members are always welcome. Please make yourself known to a committee member on arrival at a meeting if you are new and/or have a question for us.

Meetings are held over a number of venues, at a range of times to offer variety and convenience. Some meetings are shared with Alliance partners to maximise opportunity to network amongst other benefits. Always check in advance of the time and location. A buffet and refreshments are always available along with the opportunity to network before the published meeting start time.
