Our district has a warm and friendly, informal atmosphere.
Over the past few years, we've seen a great deal of change in both IOSH and the workplace and the NSSC District aims for its members to become true professionals in health and safety. It does this by running regular IPD/CPD training sessions prior to each meeting and also helping members with preparations for the peer review interview for IPD. We can also advise on levels of membership up to Fellowship.
Branch members are encouraged to invite friends and colleagues to the branch meetings. Members are free to circulate details of the branch programme at their place of work to encourage new members.
There are a wide range of membership levels within our district from Tech to Fellow who can assist in mentoring and advising on best practice for any individual who is hoping to join IOSH or upgrade their membership.
Members are encouraged to invite friends and colleagues to the local meetings. At our venue there is a room set aside for socialising in which we provide free sandwiches and soft or hot drinks so that our friendly membership can attend "straight from work" and new members or visitors can relax.
