IOSH Accreditation

Recognition of your programme as a route to membership

In a crowded market place, buyers will always respond to visibility, credibility and trust. Potential students for your health and safety qualifications and programmes will be no different.

That’s why students deciding whether or not to take up your health and safety programme/qualification can be more confident in making their choice when they see it is IOSH accredited. And it’s not only students who’ll be reassured by the professional standards associated with IOSH – occupational safety and health (OSH) professionals, employers and educators will be too.

As the Chartered body and largest membership organisation for safety and health professionals, IOSH seeks to continually improve standards of competency within the profession. One of the ways we do this is by accrediting OSH programmes/qualifications as meeting the entry requirements for IOSH membership.

So prospective students can be confident that an IOSH accredited programme/qualification will tick all the right boxes, not only for their learning but for their future career. Students will see IOSH accreditation as a recognised route for them to achieve their highest aspirations as a professional in their chosen field.

It all provides a level of professional standing that allows higher education institutions (HEIs) and awarding organisations (AOs), as well as their students, to have an influence on safety and health in the world of work, both now and in the future. On top of this, students and staff on accredited qualifications will receive continual support from the IOSH Membership Engagement Team. Take a look at our existing accredited programmes/qualifications.
